Eleven Madison Park

New York, NY 10010
(212) 889-0905

UPDATE: Congrats to our friends at EMP for taking home the James Beard award for Outstanding Restaurant. Daniel, Will and the gang are on one hell of a tear. ALSO, Julian P. Van Winkle, III of Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery in Louisville captured the Outstanding Wine & Spirits Professional award. EMP and ourselves used ORVWD barrels to age a special brown ale that will only be available at the restaurant. Grab yourself a ticket to the dinner for a first taste.

Well, this is cool. Now and again Garrett & Co. pull some pretty cool culinary collaborations out of their hats. You might remember the Indian spiced Cuvee du Cardoz or the Cookie Jar Porter, both inspired by the cooking world. Now comes a Voltron of a project featuring the talents of the celebrated Eleven Madison Park restaurant. Not only will the affair yield a new beer but a dinner is also in the cards.

From Eleven Madison Park:

Help us celebrate the collaboration between Eleven Madison Park and Brooklyn Brewery on Sunday, June 26. Join us for a multicourse tasting menu that will showcase the evolution of beer in fine dining.  Chef Daniel Humm and Brooklyn Brewmaster Garrett Oliver will be working together to create a completely unique dining experience- Garrett and his team have been busy preparing some fascinating and delicious beers that no one has tasted yet, even our most beer-savvy guests are going to be surprised. The dinner will also mark the release of Local 11 and Nine Pin Brown Ale, two barrel-aged beers created in partnership with Garrett, EMP’s Beer Guy Kirk Kelewae, Old Rip Van Winkle Bourbon, and acclaimed designer Milton Glaser.  Tickets are on sale for $150 per person.
