SUNDAY, JUNE 24: 6-9pm
Theo Peck and Nick Suarez are excited to return to one of their favorite culinary destinations to present the amateur cook-off Boston Cake Experiment at the Middle East Club. Let them eat cake! Dishes will range from the savory to the sweet, from bacon infused cake to a simple chocolate cake and every possible experiment in between. Judging the experiment will be Leigh Belanger, Program Director at Chefs Collaborative, and Rich Garcia, Executive Chef at 606 Congress.

Attendees: tweet photos of your favorite bite @BrooklynBrewery with the hash tag #BOSFoodEx for a chance to win this homebrew kit. $10 includes tasting samples and a complimentary Brooklyn Brewery beer. Ticket link to come.

But wait, there’s more! The day before the Cake Experiment, the Boston Supermarket Showdown goes off at Whole Foods (location coming soon!). Come out and watch as seven-time Brooklyn Cook-Off champ, Theo Peck, comes to town to take on one of your own local foodies for bragging rights in a mini cook-off of mini-epic proportions. The not so secret ingredient: Brooklyn Brewery beer.

  • Hipster Dust

I love the article, the Brewery, and the food renaissance
in Brooklyn in general. That’s why I created Hipster Dust.
This is a unique spice blend for veggies, soups, and just about anything you
    want to taste good.
