We invite you to join us for An Autumn Night, presented by GrowNYC, at Union Square Greenmarket on Friday, October 18th. Come celebrate the fall harvest and Cider Week with local farmers, restaurants and live music. Farm fresh produce, meats, and cheeses will be for sale and a curated roster of restaurants will be serving prepared foods. There will also be a bar serving hard cider and our very own Brooklyn Greenmarket Wheat, made from 70% New York state grown wheat and barley.
Along with all of the delicious food served that evening, there will be programming for families, a pumpkin carving demonstration by Maniac Pumpkin Carvers, live music with Ed Cherry and Leviticus Gory provided by Jazz Foundation of America.
All of your favorite Friday Greenmarket farmers will be in attendance, along with these restaurants selling individual dishes, desserts and beverages:
Chop’t Salad- Spicy Greek Salad
Ngam Modern Thai Comfort Food - Winter Squash Red Curry
Palo Santo - Greenmarket Tacos
Tocqueville Restaurant - Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Gala Apples and Carmalized Chestnuts
‘Wichcraft - Pumpkin Cider Soup with Toasted Marshmallow & Spiced Pepitas
