BAM Brooklyn Close-Up: “The Wiz” @ BAM

Join BAM on December 17 for the next film in their Brooklyn Close-Up series: 1978′s classic “The Wiz.”  A 1970′s update on “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Wiz” was originally a Broadway musical that opened in 1974.  With a cast including greats such as RIchard Pryor, Diane Ross and Michael Jackson, the story takes on a whole new spin.  Showings are at 6 and 9 pm, with tickets for just $7 for BAM members, $12 for general & $8 for students & seniors.  Brooklyn Brewery will be there to meet your beer needs, so be sure to swing by before clicking your heels and heading home.
