From BAM:

BROOKLYN BOHEME (2011) Directed by Nelson George and Diane Paragas. This nonfiction paean to Fort Greene celebrates the neighborhood as an epicenter for forward-thinking black culture in the 1980s. Includes interviews with Spike Lee, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock, and more.

SHE’S GOTTA HAVE IT (1986) Directed by Spike Lee. With Lee, Tracy Camilla Johns, Tommy Redmond Hicks, John Canada Terrell. Lee’s fearless feature debut (shot largely in Fort Greene)took the world by storm by appropriating the indie sex comedy, à la Woody Allen, to address black sexuality— and for its concern with a demographic hitherto underrepresented in film: the cosmopolitan black female.
