On January 21, the Tenement Museum will host our esteemed president and co-founder, as well as the noble owners of Brooklyn Kitchen and DiPalo’s Fine Foods, for a talk with Edible Brooklyn’s revered Rachel Wharton on the food culture of Brooklyn, the kingly borough.
From the Tenement Museum:
Rachel Wharton hosts proprietors from Brooklyn Brewery, Brooklyn Kitchen, and DiPalo’s Fine Foods.
Today’s Brooklyn is the scene of a distinct and vibrant food renaissance. Join Rachel Wharton, award-winning food journalist, as she explores the essential “Brooklyn-ness” of culinary life, past and present, in the Borough of Kings. Enjoy samples from Brooklyn Kitchen’s Meathook Charcuterie and Butcher Shop and Brooklyn Brewery as well as a taste of Lou DiPalo’s mother’s cheesecake. Part of the Food Series curated by Jane Ziegelman. Upcoming events in this series include Breads of New York (2/2) and Public Markets (3/27).
