“Justin Bua: Art Imitates Urban Life” @ Nu Hotel (Brooklyn)

Head to the Nu Hotel on June 9th for several events all rolled up into one. The day begins with a youth workshop by artist Justin Bua, who will then give a presentation and sign his new book, “The Legends of Hip Hop.” RSVP here to attend the reception, which will run from 6pm to midnight and include an open bar from 8-9pm featuring beer lovingly provided by Brooklyn Brewery.

What – Justin Bua, known for his best-selling collection of fine art posters, the most famous of which is “The DJ,” will conduct a youth workshop from 2pm to 4pm at the hotel. A presentation and discussion of his work will follow at 5pm, along with a book signing of Bua’s most recent book, “The Legends of Hip-Hop.” After the book signing will be a reception with music from DJ Jedi and a Brooklyn Brewery open bar from 8pm to 9pm.
