The nation’s leading cook-off organization is bringing back celebrity judges, creative food themes and the chance for one local chef to win a trip to Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Brewery is flying the winner of each uniquely-themed showdown to Brooklyn for an elite “Back-Of-The-House Pass” including:
+ 3-night stay at The Wythe Hotel (across the street from Brooklyn Brewery)
+ Tasty Tours of our neighborhood’s finest food producers
+ Friday night Chef’s Feast
+ The chance to compete in The Food Experiments Championship at Brooklyn Brewery
SUNDAY, MARCH 25: 1-4pm [#SWEFoodEx]
From the Food Experiments: “Theo Peck and Nick Suarez are excited to present the first ever Stockholm Chili Experiment an amateur cook-off involving Sweden’s finest, most committed, passionate, and intense home chefs. The Chili dishes will range from the savory to the sweet. You’ll see it all: Bean Chili, Meat Chili, White Chili, Beer Chili, Red Chili, Secret Chili, Chocolate Chili, Reindeer Chili, Salmon Chili (?), Spicy Chili… Remember there is always room for a little experimentation and one last bite. As long as there’s some kind of Chili in that dish, it can represent. You may never look at chili the same way.”
Judging the experiment will be Fredrik Ander, Head Chef at, Proviant; Daniella Illerbrand, General Manager at Mathias Dahlgren; Pia Bendel, Editor, Gourmet; Lisa Förare Winbladh, Food Blogger; Sanna Blomquist, Food Blogger Sommeiler, World of Wine News; Edward Blom, Food Blogger food and drinks connoisseur.
