War Correspondents at the Brooklyn Brewery: Sebastian Junger with Susan Meiselas

BB-08-05-13 26

The War Correspondents series is back at Brooklyn Brewery in 2014. The series typically features Brooklyn Brewery Co-Founder and former foreign correspondent, Steve Hindy interviewing a host of journalists and photojournalists who have reported from all corners of the world. However, on November 19, RISC founder, Sebastian Junger will take over host duties and interview award-winning photographer Susan Meiselas of Magnum Photos. Meiselas is best known for her coverage of the insurrection in Nicaragua and the documentation of human rights abuses in Latin America. The series benefits the nonprofit organization RISC (Reporters Instructed in Saving Colleagues), which provides free advanced first aid training to independent conflict reporters, photographers and filmmakers. Tickets are $25 and include one beer; details on purchasing will be released soon.
