The day was inevitable. In fact, I’m surprised it hasn’t come sooner: someone is trying to overthrow me as the Brooklyn Brewery Mascot.

Our MN Brand Manager Mike Maraghy’s dog Buddha sent out the above photo of him wearing a Brooklyn Brewery t-shirt. I’ve copied the full email chain below. No response from the bulldog yet. Stay tuned for an update…

Buddha, are you serious? Remember when you were here and all you wanted to do was lick the accounting departments’ faces? It takes a lot more than slobbering to be a mascot. No lawyers for me, Jeff. Being able to take care of yourself without the aid of humans is just one of many superior feline characteristics. Are you sure you can take this heat, bully dog?
