The BBC reports that England’s first feline, Larry, might lose his job for sleeping on it. Brought up to the British big leagues to stop mice from ruining boring meetings, investigations indicate that lazy Larry “spends more of his time asleep or with a lady friend, Maisie, than he does hunting rodents.”
Has Mr. Cameron considered that there might be more to life for his right honourable henchman than chasing vermin over 10 Downing? Larry might be described as having a “strong predatory drive”, but the way he carries that Union Jack on his neck suggests he might be more suited for fine arts than to cleaning up after politicians.
