American Craft Beer Comes to France

IPA France

Luckily when the following email from Graeme Bent, owner of the famous Joe Allen restaurant in Paris, came to us via our new French importing partner — “Nicolas, voici le preuve et une témoignage de mon profond sentiment de bonheur. Enfin une bière artisanale en France! Autant je déclare mon sympathie à tout l’équipe de Brooklyn Brewery et leur partiaires européen! Bravo! Le IPA est arrivée. — Eric Ottaway, the brains behind our export operations, was able to provide a loose translation:

“Nicolas, here is proof and testimony of my profound happiness. Finally, craft beer in France! Also, my best wishes to the entire Brooklyn Brewery team and their European partners. Bravo, IPA has arrived.”

Steve Hindy chimed in, “Magnifique!”

Garrett Oliver wrote, “Incroyable!”

And Robin Ottaway replied with something NSFW (to which our marketing director suggested he pardon his French) but nonetheless represented our overall sentiment of this news of the first pint of Brooklyn being poured in France: Awesome!
