UPDATE // DEC 5 A big Thank You to all who attended and poured beer at the Drink For Good fundraiser last night. We sold over 200 tickets, raised $10,000 and enjoyed beer from 16 breweries. Selections included Shmaltz Hebrew Jewbelation Sweet 16, Reunion ’12, Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner and Coney Island Lager; Sixpoint Resin and Diesel; Bronx Pale Ale; Birreria Gina Thyme Pale Ale and Nicoletta Hybrid Ale/Melomel; Kelso IPA and Rye Aged Porter; Heartland Old Red Nose Special Edition 2012 and Cabernet aged in bottles; Empire IPA and White Aphro; Founders Breakfast Stout and Cerise; Ommegang Three Philosophers and Duvel Rustica; Bluepoint White IPA; and 10 taps and a selection of Big Bottles from Brooklyn Brewery.

On Tuesday, December 4, the NYC Brewers Guild is bringing 14 craft breweries to 79 N11th St to pour beer and raise money to aid Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in Brooklyn & Queens. By purchasing a ticket to enjoy a truly amazing selection of some of the best beer brewed and distributed in NYC, participants will provide direct support to Rockaway Surf Club, Red Hook Initiative & Coney Recovers, three organizations representing communities hit hardest by Sandy.
A $40 ticket gets you a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited samples from all 16 breweries. Wafles & Dinges and The Munchie Mobile will sit outside the brewery with bites for sale.
