Expansion Ends with Delivery of Eight 200-Barrel Fermenters

After a whirlwind two and a half years, the final phase of our expansion here in Brooklyn took place earlier this week with the arrival of eight brand shining new 200-barrel fermentation tanks. Each one of these guys can hold up to 45,000 pints of beer at a time, and as The New York Times reported today, will ferment one million pints a year. The tanks took about one month in transit from Germany to Brooklyn, and we’re putting up a team of four engineers to do all the piping and welding to get the tanks ready to use. If all goes to plan, these blue whales of the brewing world will be fully operational by mid-December.
