Brooklyn Brewery is flying the winner of each uniquely-themed showdown to Brooklyn for an elite “Back-Of-The-House Pass” including:

SUNDAY, APRIL 15: noon-3pm
The Food Experiments National Tour barrels through Durham, NC with the Pork Experiment at Motorco Music Hall. Attendees tweet photos of their favorite bite @BrooklynBrewery with the hash tag #NCFoodEx for a chance to win this homebrew kit. Judging the experiment will be Johanna Kramer, food-writer and blogger at Durham Foodie, Chef Walter Royale, Executive chef and Iron Chef at The Angus Barn, and Kitty Kinnin, host/producer of Mornings and the Sunday Brunch at The River 100.7.

$10 includes tasting samples and a complimentary Brooklyn Brewery beer. A portion of the proceeds will go towards charities that promote sustainability and local culinary education for disadvantaged children and teens. Buy tickets here.

SATURDAY, APRIL 14: noon-2pm
But wait, there’s more! The day before the Pork Experiment, the Carolina Supermarket Showdown goes off at Harris Teeter (500 Oberlin Road, Raleigh). Come out and watch as seven-time Brooklyn Cook-Off champ, Theo Peck, comes to town to take on one of your own local foodies for bragging rights in a mini cook-off of mini-epic proportions. The not so secret ingredient: Brooklyn Brewery beer.
