Mug’s Anniversary Ale Release @ Mug’s Alehouse

Our old and dear friends at Mug’s Alehouse will have their official Brooklyn Brewery Mug’s Anniversary Ale available this Saturday, October 6 — the keg is tapped at 2pm. Affectionately referred to as “Blood Brothers,” it is a red IPA with a whopping 8.5% ABV. The beer’s development was spearheaded by brewer Rob Lemery, with help from Ed from Mug’s as well.

Naturally, these men feel a great affection for the beer and each other:

A beer that brings such affection is surely worth trying. Stop by Mug’s and give it a hoist, but be quick — there is a limited supply, and it is exclusively available at Mug’s.
