Events At This Venue
Not to get all transcendentalist on you, but here at Brooklyn Brewery, we appreciate opportunities to get out of the hustle and bustle of New York city and reconnect with the natural world. The problem is that, while introspection is important, the food and beverage selection in the middle of the woods can be suspect. Together with the fine folks at Queens Farm, The Cleaver Co. and Dickson’s Farmstand Meats, we think we’ve solved that problem, and in a far more convenient location than you’d expect.
Tucked away on a massive field between the sprawling residential buildings of New York City is a rustic gem known as the Queens County Farm Museum. Stepping through the gates of the farm and onto this cultivated land is a true escape from city life, and the historically preserved farmhouses a departure from this high-tech century. On July 21, the Farm is welcoming you to join them for a BBQ/outdoor feast featuring veggies grown on their own grounds, Dickson’s Farmstand Meats and beer lovingly provided by Brooklyn Brewery, not to mention dancing and s’mores. Sounds good, yeah? But wait, there’s more! After you’ve had your fill of meat and beer, pitch your tent in an apple orchard and catch some Z’s under the stars. Coffee and Cannelle Patisserie pastries will greet you in the morning, and yes, probably even a rooster, too.
Tickets must be bought in advance, so buy your ticket today.
From Queens Farm:

After dinner, huddle around the fire place in the historic Adriance Farmhouse while you enjoy live music and a cup of hot cider. Don’t miss out on this special evening! We’ll see you on the Farm!
