Dust off your chopstick skills because we're welcoming Sumo Stew back to the Tasting Room on Monday, November 12th at 8 PM.
Here's the deal: as we stream the sumo matches live from Japan on our projector, your job is to dig in to a hearty bowl of hot chankonabe (sumo stew), a bento box featuring some of the best Japanese food in New York, and plenty of beer and Japanese beverages to go along with your meal. Plus we'll even have a rakugo (Japanese storytelling) performance by Ken Saito, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Japan Society.
Check out the full list of food, drink, and vendors below, then grab your tickets here and start working up a sumo-sized appetite.
