The Brooklyn Brewery seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to the handle the execution of a full range of marketing functions. The right candidate will have a successful history of personnel management, hands-on digital marketing, and partnership development. The job entails a significant amount of engagement with New York City cultural institutions and non-profts such as BAM, Brooklyn Museum, Transportation Alternatives and RISC. Company culture and brand values demand that this hire holds a strong appreciation of the latest trends in beer, food, music, comedy and the web. But not EDM. No one needs to know anything about EDM.
The marketing manager must love beer and have a compulsive attraction to the internet. A strong advantage will go to applicants who have professional craft beer experience and relationships. We're looking for someone who knows the history of The Brooklyn Brewery and understands its significance to the craft beer landscape both locally and internationally. It's not that an interest in EDM will disqualify someone, it's just that it's not a requirement. This position reports to the Marketing Director.

This post is responsible for producing and managing Brooklyn Brewery’s video and photography assets. Capturing content through video and photography as well as managing these materials through post-production work and then distributing them through appropriate channels are top priorities. Basic CMS skills, writing, editing and post-production of video & photos are all necessary skills.

We want someone who likes beautiful things and seeks out comedy. The demands of the position also require an individual with a high level of flexibilty and agility. The multimedia manager will be required to shoot events during evenings, a few times a month. BROOKLYN BRAND COORDINATOR (Sweden)
This post is responsible for representing Brooklyn Brewery and her interests in South of Sweden (Göteborg & Malmö primarily). Primary duties will be to execute Brooklyn Brewery marketing and sales programs in the effort to raise the brand’s profile. After training at The Brewery in Brooklyn, NY, the Brand Coordinator will be called upon to forge relationships & create programming to help position Brooklyn Brewery as the premier American craft beer.
Located in Göteborg, the Brand Coordinator, will work closely with Sweden Brand Ambassador and Brooklyn Brewery’s Swedish importer, Carlsberg Group’s House of Beer. The right candidate will already be a member of the beer community & nightlife scene with existing relationships that can help position the Brooklyn brand. The job requires an outgoing personality that relishes customer interaction and has a high appreciation for beer and the Brooklyn brand. That brand appreciation extends beyond Brooklyn beers to the leading culture coming out of the borough of Brooklyn that is internationally recognized for its unique character and influence. An affinity for good food, music, art and pop culture is a must.
Execution of existing programs developed by Brooklyn Brewery and House of Beer Programs include but are not limited to:
Manage and provide content to Swedish social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in collaboration with Sweden Ambassador
Develop a target list of influential accounts and do lead sales work in cooperation with Carlsberg sales staff
Work closely with staff at New Carnegie Brewery for Brooklyn Brewery and NCB events & initiatives
The Brand Coordinator will report to Sweden Brand Ambassador with dotted lines to House of Beer as well as Brooklyn Brewery contacts.
The Brand Coordinator position is full-time starting January 2015 and requires travel throughout Sweden w/a few trips to New York City throughout the year.
