JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

The Brooklyn Brewery, a leader in the growing craft brewing industry, is currently expanding and looking to add to our accounting team. We are seeking an individual with a four year accounting degree plus 2-3 years of prior accounting experience. The position will work closely with our staff accountants and controller, while interacting with all areas of the organization. Responsibilities will include:

+ General ledger work and journal entries utilizing mas90 accounting software
+ Balance Sheet and Profit (Loss) account analysis
+ Bank and credit card reconciliations
+ Various beer, sales and excise tax returns
+ Much, much more...

Successful candidates will be hard working, detail oriented and organized with a sound knowledge of accounting software applications, as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.
