BROOKLYN BREWERY MARKETING INTERNSHIP
Brooklyn Brewery is seeking an intern for The Marketing Unit. The Marketing Unit handles all of Brooklyn Brewery’s advertising, events, web and public relations activities. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to each of these areas. This is a very hands-on position that demands consistency and dedication.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in college, have knowledge and appreciation of craft beer & food and have a firm grasp on popular culture & social media. Good media writing skills are a must. Top candidates will be able to demonstrate a hard work ethic, a proven passion for Brooklyn and a desire to learn.

DETAILS
Compensation: $10/hour in addition to course credit
Hours: Half day, 2-3 times/week, totaling 10 hours weekly
Duration: 2012 Spring Semester
Location: The Brewery is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Requirements: must be at least 21 years old

DUTIES
Duties include but are not limited to assisting in the following areas:

+ Customer service & general communication
+ Donations program
+ Blog, web, social media & eNewsletter management
+ Competition applications
+ Evening promotions
+ General office tasks
