BROOKLYN SAVORS WASHINGTON DC

A brewer, a salesman and a marketer walk into a museum. What happens? They’re surrounded by 144 craft beers at SAVOR, a first rate beer-and-food pairing experience produced annually by the Brewers Association and held in 2011 at the gorgeous National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

Brooklyn Brewer and Lab Manager Tom Price, Brand Manager Junior Acevedo and Communications Coordinator Dan D’Ippolito (not to mention Steve Hindy) all converged in our nation’s fine capital to pour Local 2 (paired with grilled flank steak) and Sorachi Ace (paired with hot peppered salmon) amidst scores of America’s top breweries similarly sampling their food-paired wares.

Between pouring and popping corks, we managed to snap some photos. And between SAVOR and sleep we paid a visit to Honest Abe, TJ and Obama’s humble residence.
