Applebee’s is helping out with the launch of the newest beer to join our core lineup, 1/2 Ale. All October long at 22 Applebee’s in the metro NY area, 1/2 Ale will be the beer of the month. Come out and enjoy this crisp, but refreshingly citrusy session saison.
Get your Bavarian hats and head to Blumenau, Brazil to celebrate with the largest Oktoberfest this side of the Atlantic. From October 8 to 26, come to the German Village Park pavilions for beer, food, live music and generally the most fun you can have in a packed tent. We’ll be on hand to pour Brooklyn Lager, East IPA, Sorachi Ace and, of course, Oktoberfest. Grab your tickets below and get yourself to the fest before November rolls around.
We are partnering with Underground Arts in Philly for their event Drunk Piano – a weekly Monday night music and comedy series hosted by the legendary session player Jay Davidson. Each week, Jay invites a group of local and international touring artists to guest star, gets a few drinks in the them, and then makes them play for the masses, culminating in a jam session that lasts all night. This Vaudevillian-style series of performances has been drawing some serious musicians – Clay Sears, Doug Grigsby, Ian McGuire, Scott Coulter, Steve Wise, Jennifer Pague, TJ Kong of TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb, and Drew Nugent of Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society – to name a few. The chain, which spans the eastern seaboard, is renown for providing an outstanding selection and is often the first the receive some of our most limited beers. Case in point, we’re celebrating their grand opening on Saturday, October 25th with a guided tasting of our newest Brooklyn Quarterly Experiment, Hand & Seal. Being sampled alongside Hand & Seal are Brooklyn Oktoberfest and our newest core release, Brooklyn 1/2 Ale, a session saison.
Come to one of New York City’s oldest marketplaces for Vendy Plaza at La Marqueta Retoña every Sunday from 12-6 PM until the end of November. The Vendy Awards and the Office of the Speaker Melissa Mark-Vivierito have partnered to bring Vendy winners and favorites and local vendors together to celebrate the role of the marketplace in New York City’s history. Live jazz fusion will be provided by Trombeatz and there will be a cash bar featuring plenty of Brooklyn Brewery beer to take along as you shop. Stop by and enjoy a uniquely New York day out.
