We are partnering with Underground Arts in Philly for their event Drunk Piano – a weekly Monday night music and comedy series hosted by the legendary session player Jay Davidson. Each week, Jay invites a group of local and international touring artists to guest star, gets a few drinks in the them, and then makes them play for the masses, culminating in a jam session that lasts all night. This Vaudevillian-style series of performances has been drawing some serious musicians – Clay Sears, Doug Grigsby, Ian McGuire, Scott Coulter, Steve Wise, Jennifer Pague, TJ Kong of TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb, and Drew Nugent of Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society – to name a few. Head to Millennium Square in Leeds from September 26-28 to cast your vote in For the Love of Food. Twenty five food trucks from around the UK will be there to battle for the top spot over the course of the three-day festival, showing off culinary skills and thrills from around the world. There will also be live music, multiple music stages, and plenty of beer. Brooklyn Brewery will be on hand with our beloved tap truck to keep the festivities going. Early bird tickets are surprisingly cheap and come with a beer as well as entrance to the festival, so grab yours quick before they sell out.
