Applebee’s is helping out with the launch of the newest beer to join our core lineup, 1/2 Ale. All October long at 22 Applebee’s in the metro NY area, 1/2 Ale will be the beer of the month. Come out and enjoy this crisp, but refreshingly citrusy session saison.
Get your Bavarian hats and head to Blumenau, Brazil to celebrate with the largest Oktoberfest this side of the Atlantic. From October 8 to 26, come to the German Village Park pavilions for beer, food, live music and generally the most fun you can have in a packed tent. We’ll be on hand to pour Brooklyn Lager, East IPA, Sorachi Ace and, of course, Oktoberfest. Grab your tickets below and get yourself to the fest before November rolls around.
Brooklyn’s Gina Glenn loves sharing a pint or two with new friends. Join her at Champions at the Marriott Uniondale on Tuesday, October 21st to do just that. Gina, a fabulous conversationalist and loyal confidante, will be drinking Brooklyn Oktoberfest, Post Road Pumpkin Ale & our newest darling, Brooklyn 1/2 Ale, and getting pumped to cheer on our dear Islanders as they take the rink at the next door, Nassau Coliseum. This will be a book signing party, plus the official NYC launch of the newest shampoo on the market: Jorge Bendersky at M boutique!

Treat your wrists to a night of free pinball with Whopper Wednesdays at the Library Square Public House. Take on an array of classic pinball machines fueled by $6 beer and wings specials and $10 pitchers. Doors open at 6 PM and league play commences at 7 PM, so be sure to come early to bask in pinball glory. Miss it this Wednesday? Don’t worry, we’ll still be there next Wednesday.
The talents of the Brooklyn Brewery do not stop at brewing. We are highly musically inclined. In fact, 24West Official CMJ Showcase at Arlene’s Grocery features two of our own. Come by this free show on Wednesday, October 22nd to hear the sweet sweet electropop punk rock of Brooklyn’s Ruthy and Frank along with the rest of their Syvia bandmates. Filling out the bill are East Forest, arms and sleepers, The Kickdrums. Brooklyn Lagers will be $3 from 7-9pm and will be accompanied by a DJ set by APSPDR+
Show off your skills and enjoy your favorite fall beer at our Post Road Pumpkin Carving Contest on Thursday, October 23rd at Strikers in West Seneca, NY. The $15 registration fee includes your pumpkin, carving utensils, and a Brooklyn beer. Brooklyn beers are $1 off after your first, and we hear drinking Post Road Pumpkin Ale is great for creativity, which you’ll need since we have prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Make sure to register at the bar, so you can join in on the fun.
