You’ve read about them in the New York Times, now let the folks at BK1834 show you around the future of tech. At their Makers Night, a meetup event exploring the future of 3D printing, get up close and personal with a 3D printer, and maybe even take home some Brooklyn Brewery swag that’s printed right before your eyes. Music will be provided by the Boxcar Bandits, and we’ll be bringing the beer.

It’s time again for everyone’s slideshow-meets-potluck, and this time, in collaboration with the Red Hook Crit, Slideluck is curating a show of bicycle-related works by local and international artists. On March 28, Slideluck will bring it’s trademark mix of art show presentation and communal dining to Pioneer Works in Red Hook. Tickets are $15 at the door and include dinner and the show. We’ll bring the beer.
It’s time again for The Common’s annual gala, The Common in the (Eternal) City, which will take place on May 21st at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. As a literary celebration of Rome’s Piazza Navona, this year’s party will feature music, dancing, cocktails, aperitivos and, of course, beer all inspired by a night in Italy. All proceeds benefit The Common Foundation and their mission to support authors and artists and publish place-based literature and art from around the world. To join The Common at this fabulous fête, purchase here.
