The 3rd bottle in our Brooklyn Quarterly Experiment series is upon us. Bear witness at the Brooklyn Brewery as we release Hand & Seal upon the masses!
What does that mean for you? Glad you asked – We are planning a gathering for a few of our friends which includes a private hour to pick up your bottles for home and sample the first bottles off the line with your fellow foamy friends! There will be a cap on how many bottles we can sell so get your ticket early. The ticket will grant you early admittance to the tasting room, an open bar of our draft beers, a sampling of Hand & Seal, coffee from Brooklyn Roasting Company, scones and shortbread from Ovenly, and of course, a bottle of Hand & Seal all your own.
Offensively Delicious at The Oriental Theater is the place to be on October 1 at 6 PM–the eve of Great American Beer Festival–where ten breweries will put forth their best brews and funniest employees for your respective tasting and listening pleasure.
Breweries including Renegade, Epic, Breckenridge, Community Beer, Ommegang, Santa Fe Brewing Company, Schmaltz, Boulevard and Brooklyn Brewery will be pouring from 6-8 PM before the comedy starts and providing three full pours per ticket during the show with more pours are available for purchase, in addition to offering up the employees voted funniest within their companies. Brooklyn Brewery can’t be found in Colorado at any other time of year, so the Sorachi Ace we’re bringing along will be extra tasty.
Brooklyn Brewery will be sending up copywriter, tour guide and bartender Tim Rozmus, a New York local, comedian, actor, and director who feels just the slightest bit strange writing his own name in this post.
Once Tim and the rest of the folks behind the beer have had their time in the limelight, Denver comedy greats Andy Juett and Adam Cayton-Holland as well as headliner Nikki Glaser will bring their sets to the stage. Andy is a craft beer fan, actor, writer, producer and comedian who co-owns Denver comedy collective Sexpot Comedy with Pete Turner and Adam Cayton-Holland. Once a craft brewer in Denver, Adam is now a comedian and writer who tours the country when not boosting the comedy scene in his native Denver. Comedian, writer and host Nikki Glaser’s regular stand-up and television appearances find her everywhere from New York City’s best comedy clubs to appearing on the popular podcast You Had To Be There to co-hosting MTV’s Nikki and Sara LIVE. Tickets are $40 and help support the MaxFund no-kill animal shelter, so snap yours up today for the chance to drink and laugh for a great cause.
