Our friends from Advocates for Trans Law Students (ATLS) at Fordham University School of Law are setting up shop in our Barrel Room to assist folks changing their names and/or gender markers.

While they’re not lawyers (yet) and can’t provide official legal advice or representation, the ATLS team is graciously doing their part to demystify the process. They’ll have court petition forms on site, as well as a New York State Notary, so be sure to bring a valid photo ID – it’s free to attend.
