None of our beers contain nuts, and we have no reason to believe that any of our beers contain ingredients which might have been processed along with nuts, as the facilities which process malt and hops are specific to the beer industry.
The large majority of our beers are made with only the four basic ingredients: malted barley, hops, yeast and water, and sometimes also wheat. The only exception in our current lineup is Post Road Pumpkin Ale. Since we can’t guarantee that the nutmeg in our Post Road Pumpkin Ale wasn’t processed alongside nuts, we would recommend not drinking this beer if you have a severe nut allergy.
Depending on how severe your allergy is, we would recommend consulting your doctor and making sure all the ingredients mentioned above are safe for you to ingest.
Some beers, i.e. “nut browns”, are named after a flavor, and do not actually contain nuts. For instance, our Black Chocolate Stout does not contain any chocolate, but that chocolate flavor is derived from a careful blend of roasted malts. Still, it is important to verify the ingredients of each beer if you have a serious allergy.
