What started as a small-batch limited release in the Tasting Room quickly became a fan favorite among our regulars. Now it’s available year-round in bottles and cans, so you can bring a fresher state of lime wherever you go. With sunburst-inspired packaging and a twist-off cap, it’s designed to stand out and be enjoyed effortlessly, anywhere.
Brewed with Hallertau and Saaz hops, Playa delivers a bright, breezy sip with a crisp citrus kick. Its well-balanced profile makes it a natural match for fresh, vibrant plates — grilled fish tacos, smoky jerk chicken, or a tangy peach and goat cheese salad. Playa was brewed for long days, golden hours, and whatever’s sizzling on the grill.
Our James Beard Award-winning Brewmaster Garrett Oliver shares the story behind Playa:
“My summer Playa is in Brooklyn — in my own rooftop garden, lined with palm trees and drenched in sunshine, where Playa de Brooklyn is the star of my frequent barbecues. I created Playa de Brooklyn to capture that feeling — it puts sunshine on my face and palm trees over my head, no matter where I actually am. It’s a state of mind…my favorite one.”
Playa de Brooklyn is available in 6-packs of cans and bottles, as well as on draft. You can find it wherever Brooklyn Brewery beers are sold starting in April.
