Updated: Brooklyn Brewery’s Response to Covid-19

We have watched with the world as knowledge around the Covid-19 pandemic continues to grow. We have worked hard to maintain a safe and healthy atmosphere for our guests and team so far, but feel that at this time it is necessary to update our plans to reflect the reality of the situation.

As of Monday, March 16, our Tasting Room and offices will close until further notice. All events, tours, and public hours in our Tasting Room bar are cancelled. Our full-time team members affected by these changes will still receive compensation and benefits, and most of our office members have already shifted to working remotely. Our part-time team members in the Tasting Room will be compensated for shifts scheduled through the end of March. While we recognize job losses are painful to those affected, we believe this closure is an essential step in slowing the spread of Covid-19, and will work to get our part-time teammates back on track once this is all over. In the meantime, we appreciate everyone’s efforts in doing their part.

We encourage our drinkers around the world to take this opportunity to support their communities to the best of their abilities. With modern technology there are an incredible number of ways to check in with neighbors, stay in touch with family and friends, and keep informed while passing the time. If you have the means, please consider buying merch or gift certificates for your favorite bars and restaurants as they adapt to closures. Stay calm, wash your hands, and we’ll share a drink in the future.

Cheers, and stay healthy,

Brooklyn Brewery
